Model 73 has no external moving parts, no springs or cams, and no reed element, so there is nothing to wear or fail. Its contact chamber is potted and sealed from moisture or contaminants and is completely protected in a one-piece stainless steel housing, including the sensing face. Unlike magnetic reed switches, it is not susceptible to contact teasing, chatter, bounce, or welding.
Electrically, Model 73 delivers the most flexibility in the industry. Its environmentally sealed dry contacts are rated 4amp/120VAC, 3amp/24VDC, and 0.5 amp/125VDC and is suitable for both high and low electrical loads. The 73 can be wired AC or DC, N/O or N/C, consume no power to operate, and have
